The Best Places for an ‘All you Can Eat’ Restaurant Experience In Ontario, Canada

September 11, 2020

Canada is renowned for its tourist attractions and great city life, but it’s also become famous for its food scene (at least that’s what I believe! I love food so much lol!). Particularly, places like Mississauga, Oakville and many other locations have great restaurants to choose from when it comes to finding a good place to lunch and dine.

With so many great eats, if you only have a limited amount of time, you’ll have to narrow down the options. Even for those who decide to buy one of the Ontario based houses for sale, it would take you years to try all restaurants – Yelp currently lists nearly 4,100 restaurants here.

To help you out, these are three restaurants you really need to try while you’re in Ontario, specifically Mississauga or Oakville. These are some of my favourites:

Spoon and Fork

Located in the hearts of Oakville, Spoon and Fork offers all You Can eat and A La Carte menus. Specializing in Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese foods. There is so much variety of foods to choose from and honestly, you can never go wrong with an AYCE restaurant. Restaurants like this one do not solely focus on what style of food and one reason I never get tired of all you can eat restaurants is mainly because of its versatility. Spoon and Fork has multiple locations in Oakville but I prefer the location situated at Dundas, Oakville. This location offers a variety of atmospheres with outdoor dining on the patio, the main dining room, the main bar, and a raw bar.

168 Sushi Buffet

If you’re looking for that diamond in the rough, 168 Sushi is such a good place to wine and dine. Considered one of the best Japanese restaurants with a great selection for lunch buffet and quality meals. It’s located in Mississauga and offers Chinese, Korean & Thai dishes along with sushi. Most importantly, you can just order everything you can fit on the table because you cannot go wrong here. With everything from the crispy chicken coated in teriyaki sauce to the sauteed mushrooms. I was even shocked that I loved the taste of dumplings because I had never tried it until I came to 168 sushi. It’s definitely a restaurant worth visiting if you are in the Mississauga area.

August 8th

August 8th is an all-you-can-eat restaurant chain that brings together offers an ever-changing menu of the finest aspects of Cantonese-style dim sum and Japanese sushi. There are two dining rooms to choose from, each with a different atmosphere, one bright, open and with a full view of the kitchen, while the other is dark, ideal for a romantic meal with a seductive ambiance.

Located in the hearts of Oakville about 20 minutes from Mississauga, it’s worth the trip to enjoy a traditional and rich blend of Japanese and Guanzhou food culture along with appetizing dishes from the teppanyaki grill and Dim sum menu. Once again, you can never go wrong with all you can eat restaurants because there is always something for everyone and anyone on the menu.

BONUS: Ben & Florentine (A nice brunch spot!)

BONUS RESTAURANT: Not an all you can eat spot but this is one of my favourite places to have brunch. Ben & Florentine is located downtown Oakville and is definitely that perfect brunch spot. You guys should totally check them out!
