SIMPLICITY

 

Hello loves,

Happy New Year to everyone reading this blog post! I’m so excited because this is my first official blog post of the year 2018. I’ve never been this excited about a new year! So, I decided to start this year right by sharing something special with you all. For everyone who keeps up with me via Instagram and Snapchat, you must have seen snippets of some of my #BTS photos and videos of my night in Ottawa and everything else I had going on. Those were just a few teasers. I can’t wait for you all to see what I have in store for you. I know, it was just a night! Such little time, right? The trip was indeed short but your girl still had a bit of time to snuggle in a photoshoot session. Pictures make me so happy, I love taking pictures. It has become a habit I am extremely proud of. Do you know what makes me happier? Sharing all these amazing shots with you.

With regards to the New Year, I have decided to pick up new habits and challenge my old ones to become better this year. To bring this goal to life I have decided to inculcate a collaborative approach towards fashion. There are so many talented “creatives” all around Canada and all over the world and, I feel that there is a need for them to gain the necessary publicity they deserve.

However, with regards to this shoot, I must tell you guys that this shoot was literally planned in like 2 days and normally, I usually plan ahead of time before doing my shoots. Although, I was really impressed with this particular shoot I did. The location was something different for me. It was a Museum; the National Gallery of Canada. And as soon as Ogo; the photographer who I was referred to by my friends Akin and Essy, insisted on using this location, I was more than happy to agree with it all.

Honestly, simplicity is key to life and so, this shoot reassured me that, times would come where you just have to allow things flow and allow it just happen. Certain things happen in life without planning well at least ‘proper planning’. However, it is important to plan out daily activities but, one thing I have come to realize is that cultivating the habit of planning itself is a ‘process’. So, some things may not go on as planned but, that does not necessarily mean we should give up easily. Start off little, with the hope of something bigger in the future. Your dreams and ambitions can be envisioned broadly, but always remember that this is a process and everyone has a different pace in life. Just keep things simple and everything will follow through.

Well, I don’t usually ramble so much, but I just felt I had to open up a bit about certain things. I hope I did not bore you guys 🙂
