WHAT FEMALE EMPOWERMENT MEANS TO ME FT. CONVERSE X NARRATIVE

July 3, 2019

I have always been an advocate for empowering women, especially those who I seem to have a lot more in common within this age of social media influencing. I teamed up with Converse x Narrative, a while back on March 8th, 2019. (International Women’s Day) to create awareness about how not only women but also everyone has the power to spark change. We all have this ability to bring to the forefront a constant shift in the way society perceives women.

As a young woman in her early 20’s, it is surely never too late to be your BOSS as well as have a business platform, whether it’s online or offline. My love for content creating most, especially blogging started when I was about 15 years old. My idea of blogging took a while till I put it into fruition, but I finally started my blogging platform in 2017, and till this day, I have no regrets.

Every woman can surely serve as an inspiration to all other women because for the most part; there is someone out there who may share similar interests and perceptions like you.

Always remember, “your self worth is determined by you. You don’t have to depend on someone telling you who you are.”

– Beyonce Knowles-Carter.

This is my Chuck Story #inmyconverse.

For today’s blog post look, I decided to go for a sporty baby girl look and so, I paired my rose Chuck Taylor Converse with a black top from Topshop and then Champion biker shorts from Urban Outfitters. I love how comfortable this outfit feels and looks. This blog post look is one of my go-to styles for the summer. Honestly, biker shorts + short sleeve/crop tops make a great outfit combo!
